As burlap or woven/knitted polypropylene bags can be filled with sand or gravel and are an inexpensive gravel bag solution. However, the drawbacks are that they are short life-span and break easily; a vehicle impact can cause the sharp edges of the gravel to tear through, or the seams to fail, causing hazards and the added expense of maintenance and replacement. SB-M11x48 (Snake Bag) is an inlet protection bag designed to be filled with gravel and used as an erosion control wattle around catch basin inlets, along roadways, or any application where normally use of a bio-filtration bag. Or, fill it with sand and use it as a heavy-duty sand bag.
SB-M11x48 (Snake Bag) - is approved by the EPA and is designed for the first line of defense in filtration in roadways and will trap particles sizes as small as fine sand. It is constructed with high quality tie-string, top grabbing handle-loops for easy job installation and end heat-cut handle for easy transportation.
