Our competitive benefits and advantages:
Zero VOC's/solvents: Clean & Green Patented Design Front to Back w/ Zero VOC’s/Solvents
Recycled: 72-78% recycled (membrane - not adhesive), by weight
Super Aggressive Primerless Chemistry. This means no additional costs and time incurred prepping surfaces. Adheres to most surfaces without the use of primers.
Operating range. Our chemistry allows for application and full performance beginning at -15 deg F, all the way up to 200+ deg F. We can confidently state that we have twice the application/performance range than the average asphalt or asphalt blended adhesives currently on the market. Asphalts DO NOT function affectively below 35 deg F, and many asphalt base products begin to drool at 130-140 deg F. You would be fortunate to have a 100 deg F working/application range using most asphalt or rubberized asphalt based formulations without being highly modified.
Lightweight: Virtually all of our products are much lighter weight than heavy asphalt based coatings. We invert the configuration on our products, giving you 80-90% membrane, instead of just throwing more glue on the back side of the product. Because our designs feature such aggressive chemistry, there is no practical purpose for laying down more than 8-9 mils of our PSA hot melt formulation on ANY of our coated building products. Instead we build up the facer membrane features, and this promotes strength, and durability, without senselessly weighing down the finished product. We are 45-50% lighter weight, than most of the products we compete against, with much strength numbers, due to the concentration of engineering we place on our membranes. Glue has no real strength features in a product (i.e. tensile, tear, impact, etc).
Opacity: We design all of our products with maximum opacity, to shield UV and IR degradation. Sunlight energy is the number one reason for adhesive breakdown and oxidation. We understand this better than anyone in the industry.
